Blair's radio career began in Canyon, Texas, and today he hosts the highly acclaimed, six-hour Country radio show After MidNite with Blair Garner. A graduate of the University of Texas, Blair later moved to Dallas to work at KAFM-FM, then to Washington, D.C.’s WASH-FM, and from there, he moved to Houston to take his talents to KKBQ-FM. Shortly after, WPLJ-FM in New York recruited Blair as their afternoon-drive host. He was named among the top ten most-listened-to disc jockeys in the country.
He also won the Academy of Country Music’s “On-Air Personality of the Year” Award in 2004, 2006 and 2010, and his success and popularity is attributed to him always keeping the show fresh and entertaining. Blair has hosted guests such as George Strait, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Brooks and Dunn, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and more.
Throughout his career, Blair experienced success in five of the top 10 US markets even before launching the After MidNite show in 1997.
